Because each of my clients is special and unique, the location of your session will be customized to you! There are countless parks, cityscapes, attractions, etc. around the Twin Cities that boast a variety of backdrops for photo sessions. After discussing your personal style, we are sure to find
the perfect location for your session!
I offer a variety of sessions, so the timeframe will range from 30 minutes (mini session) to an hour/hour and a half or up to two and a half hours (newborn session). Your session will be fun and relaxed! I never rush my time with clients. We will discuss and shoot a variety of poses.
Let me be the first to tell you: be comfortable! Be natural! Be yourself! What you wear is ultimately up to you, but I can make some suggestions. Wearing neutral colored clothing is a great idea. This allows for a huge variety in your photos! If you have a favorite color or want to plan a theme, I suggest mixing that in through your accessories. If you'd like to match or coordinate your colors in a group or family session, go for it! Is your style casual? Great! Do you love to dress it up? Awesome! Let your personality show by how you dress. Keep in mind, solid colors tend to look better than distracting patterns.
I love when clients get really into their session and start posing themselves, so if you have special poses in mind, please bring them with! Same goes for props; if there is something special that you'd like to have photographed with you, please bring it! As we get to know each other throughout our session, I can bet that you just might skip, twirl, and laugh! I know that you'll truly enjoy your session!
As soon as I get home from your session, I upload your stunning photos to my computer and get to work! Within 48 hours, you can expect to see a sneak peek of your session on my Facebook and Instagram pages. Within six weeks from your session, I will have your beautiful photos in a personalized album for you on my website.
Please feel free to share any photos from the sneak peek or your album, keeping this in mind: Altering images in any way is strictly prohibited and against the law. If you are posting your photos on ANY social media sites, a watermark or copyright credit from Westward Wandering Photography is required and must be visible (absolutely no cropping).
When you receive your images, they are to be printed and shared only as they appear on the online gallery and shall not be edited. No! All photo sessions come with unlimited printing rights so you can print your photos at a location of your choice. However, while it's not required to order prints through me, I can assure you that I partner with the best professional print labs to make sure you receive high quality, beautiful prints of your photos!
