Thanks for stopping by!
I'm Amy - photographer, comedian, & nature lover.
I'm a Minnesotan (yes, I live here year round!), food lover, & dream chaser. The name 'Westward Wandering Photography' comes from my ever-growing wanderlust and deep love of mountains. I have seen much of the U.S. and parts of the world, but my absolute favorite place to be is in the Rocky Mountains in the Western U.S.. I'm the heart & soul behind Westward Wandering Photography - a passion I've had for forever and finally decided to follow in 2014, when I quit my desk job to get more out of this incredible life!
When I'm not off hiking with my best furry friend, adventuring in the kitchen with my awesome husband and our two handsome sons, or making people laugh until their sides hurt, you can find me working hard in my office with a delicious cup of coffee in hand, making sure my clients are getting the best experience ever.
I love all things photography. One of my favorite sounds is hearing my camera's shutter click. I take my camera with me everywhere because I never want to miss an irreplaceable moment. I am inspired by the authenticity in people; you cannot get any more real than a day in the life, which is exactly what I aim to capture. I catch the beauty of real and special moments that are otherwise gone. You can't put a price on priceless life moments. These times will never happen again, and we only have one life to live, so let's make it count!
I believe in creating truly meaningful, long lasting relationships with my clients. From the moment we get in touch until long after you have your beautiful images in hand, I will be here. There is an indescribable magic that comes with capturing my clients celebrating their life's biggest moments, and I am honored to be a part of that.
You & I might be a perfect fit if: your dog is family, you enjoy coffee during all hours of the day and night, you seek adventure & travel around every corner, and your idea of fun includes anything Minnesotan, tasty food, and filling your life with good spirits.
Sound like we could be friends?! Great! Let's connect! Head on over to the Contact page to send me an email or shoot me a Facebook message. I can't wait to hear from you!
